Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Absolutely to plan your very special event. To make sure we’re all on the same page, below is a list of terms and conditions that are legally binding.
Absolutely’s services are only available to those who are eighteen years of age and older, and are able to form legally binding contracts under Alberta law. By agreeing to use Absolutely’s services, you confirm that all information provided to us is accurate and truthful, such as name and address.
Absolutely plans romantic events, this includes but is not limited to, Marriage Proposals, Date Nights, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties, Bridal Showers, and Engagement Parties.
Absolutely uses the services of unaffiliated, third party companies for romantic events. Therefore, you must adhere to the third party’s terms and conditions if they are used in associated with your event. A copy of the third party’s terms and conditions can be provided to you upon request.
Booking & Cancellation
Until booking is confirmed, a client’s requested proposal date may be subject to change, due to vendor and supplier availability. Absolutely will provide you with a quote as well as vendor availability following your initial consultation.
We require at least three weeks notice to begin planning your proposal or romantic event. However, we may be able to accommodate shorter time frames.
All prices quoted by third party vendors or suppliers are subject to change at any time. Absolutely and all third party vendors and suppliers require full payment before commencement of your event. Failure to provide full payment before the event may result in cancellation.
Once your proposal is confirmed, we will email your proposal plan and confirmation. Absolutely reserves the right to cancel a scheduled proposal for any reason. In the event of bad weather, we will contact you if your event needs to be rescheduled or any changes need to be made as a result. If you are late, or miss your scheduled event for any reason, the event will be considered forfeited and all payments you have made in connection with such event shall be surrendered.
Absolutely requires a 50% deposit before booking with a third party vendor or supplier. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling your event date.
Payment to Absolutely can be made by credit card. Absolutely does not accept cash payments.
The amount due will be the contracted amount plus any bank charges, deductions and currency exchange rates.
Absolutely will not provide a refund due to poor weather during the event, but we will attempt to find alternative options, where applicable, to accommodate the unforeseen circumstance. Up until a booking is made with a third party vendor/supplier, Absolutely can provide a full refund of the vendor/supplier’s fee minus Absolutely’s fee to date.
If your partner does not say ‘absolutely’, Absolutely and all third party vendors/suppliers will not provide a refund.
Any props or décor, unless purchased by the client, are the property of Absolutely or third party suppliers and must be returned following the proposal. If any of the props or décor are damaged during the event, the client will be invoiced following the event. Failure to pay the invoice may result in legal action.
Your personal information is for our business purposes only and will not be provided to third parties.
Assumption Of Risk
Absolutely is not liable for accidental injury or loss of personal items during any activity. All clients must abide by each supplier's own rules, since they are a third party service provider.
By engaging and/or booking Absolutely Proposals & Romantic Events, you abide and agree to the terms and conditions above. We reserve the rights to change and update these terms as and when we require.
